Clear aligners
Clear aligners are custom-made, removable trays that fit precisely over your teeth and move them gradually into position. Made from transparent plastic, they’re discreet, comfortable and can be removed for eating and cleaning – which most patients find fits naturally into their routine.
We offer Invisalign, Angel Aligners and Spark Aligners. All three work on the same principle and deliver excellent results – the differences between them are subtle, and our specialist orthodontists will recommend the most suitable system for your case.
What sets aligner treatment at Splash Orthodontics apart from mail-order alternatives is the level of clinical expertise behind it. Treatment is planned and supervised by a specialist orthodontist throughout. We carry out IPR where needed – a gentle procedure that creates small amounts of space between teeth – and place attachments, small tooth-coloured fixtures bonded to certain teeth that help the aligners achieve more precise movement. These details matter, and they make a real difference to your results.
Clear fixed braces
Clear fixed braces use the same mechanics as traditional braces – brackets and wires working together to move your teeth – but the brackets are made from clear or tooth-coloured ceramic, making them considerably less visible than metal.
Some patients prefer fixed braces because they’d rather not have to think about taking their aligners in and out. Others find that their case is better suited to fixed treatment. Our specialist orthodontists are highly experienced in both – and will help you decide which is the better fit.
